15-Second Price Explainer Video Script for Local Services
Short answer
Answer “what does the price include?” in three beats: the customer question, two or three visible process steps, and the confirmed inclusion or timing. A matching poster can stay at the counter for customers who prefer reading.
Script structure
- 0–3 seconds: show the real service and state the question.
- 3–11 seconds: show two or three process steps or included materials.
- 11–15 seconds: show the confirmed duration, inclusion, or next instruction.
Example: a repair shop
Question: “Why does this repair take longer?” Show inspection, part confirmation, and testing. End with the confirmed turnaround range from the shop’s current policy. Do not invent savings or guarantees.
Three more examples
Swap the brackets for your own confirmed facts.
Hair colour
Question: "Why does colour cost more than a cut?" Show the consultation and colour mixing, the colour going on section by section, then the rinse and toner. End: "Includes consultation, colour and toner. About [2] hours."
Aircon servicing
Question: "What do I get with a chemical wash?" Show the unit being opened, the coil being washed, and the water draining out clear. End: "Price is per unit. Gas top-up is quoted separately, before we start."
Tuition centre
Question: "What does the monthly fee include?" Show the small class, a practice paper being marked, and the progress note sent to parents. End: "[4] lessons a month, practice papers and a monthly progress note included."
Lines that close the video well
- "Includes [A], [B] and [C]."
- "Takes about [time]. If anything changes, we tell you before we start."
- "Ask us for the full price list."
Common mistakes
- Opening with the price instead of the question. The price only makes sense after the steps.
- Showing the shopfront instead of the service itself.
- Promising a result, such as "guaranteed" or "lasts forever".
- Using words customers never say, like "premium treatment protocol".
Poster companion
Use the same question as the heading, list the process proof in plain language, and add one current timing or inclusion fact. Keep the poster and video wording synchronized.
FAQ
Should I mention a discount?
Only if the business has an approved, current offer. Otherwise explain the process and inclusion without creating a promotion.
Can I make multilingual versions?
Yes. Translate the verified facts and have a fluent staff member review the wording.
